Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Protection and Controls Engineer to support our Energy Business Line’s Engineering Center of Excellence. The role can be remote in the U.S. or hybrid from any AECOM U.S. office.

Key responsibilities include leading electrical engineering design work, mentoring engineers, managing project schedules, and performing power system studies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience. Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $160,000 based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant protection and controls experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish.
• Professional Engineering licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the electrical engineering design work on assigned projects.
• Mentor early-career engineers and facilitate training sessions.
• Perform power system studies and system protection settings coordination.
