Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Substation Project Manager in Lewisville, TX to lead substation engineering and construction projects across the Fort Worth and Lewisville region. This hands-on role requires experience in substation projects and the ability to manage complex utility initiatives from planning through closeout.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, field crews, contractors and utility clients, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of substation project experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in power delivery or utility sector.
• Strong background in substation construction, equipment installation, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of substation projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Oversee project scope, cost estimates, resource planning, and construction coordination for greenfield and brownfield substation work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, field leadership, contractors, suppliers, and utility clients to achieve project goals.
• Track project performance, schedules, and budgets; identify risks and mitigate accordingly.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Support proposal development, cost estimating, and project forecasting for growth.
• Ensure safety requirements, company standards, and utility regulations are met.
