Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee transmission, distribution, and substation projects from initiation through closeout. You’ll assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and contractors, with a mix of office work and periodic field site visits to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–3 years of project coordination or management experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Experience with project management and analytical tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects per scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead development of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Coordinate material and subcontractor procurement; manage engineering submittals and construction requirements.
• Monitor progress and performance via updates and field visits.
• Oversee change orders and ensure accurate, timely billing per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for deliverables.
• Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
