Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for Substation 1 to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians across an active portfolio of designs and EPC programs. You will oversee design quality, budget, and schedule while coordinating client interactions and business development support.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of related experience, with a hybrid work environment and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects.
• Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations.
• Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Lead larger production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project.
• Identify key client interests and drivers and communicate concerns to the project team.
