Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Substation Physical/P&C Engineer to support its expanding Transmission & Distribution operations in Texas. The role requires at least 8 years of design experience in electrical engineering and the ability to work with utility clients on Substation methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of direct Substation Physical/P&Control design experience.
• Familiarity with grounding system design and lighting protection designs.
• Ability to perform project scoping and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients on Substation Physical and Protection & Control methodologies.
• Develop design deliverables for utility upgrades including substations.
• Mentor team members across North America and globally.
