Job summary

ResponsAble Staffing in Laredo, TX is seeking experienced Substation Journeyman Electricians for direct-hire, full-time work on utility substation projects, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of substation components.

Candidates should have 3–4+ years of substation experience, OSHA 10/30, ability to read drawings, lift up to 75 lbs, and work at heights. They’ll earn $30.00–$35.25 per hour with $125 lodging and $60 food per diem, plus benefits and overtime.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4+ years of relevant electrical/substation experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• Substation construction and maintenance experience.
• Experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, open trenches, and from aerial equipment.
