Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer in the Substation Department. The role involves routine engineering tasks, drawings, calculations, and designs under supervision. A hybrid work arrangement supports learning and collaboration.

Required is a BE/EE degree (ABET-accredited preferred), FE exam within 1 year, and internship experience. Travel up to 15% may be required; U.S. work authorization is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited program preferred).
• Successful completion of FE exam or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Engineering internship experience preferred.
• Electrical power systems coursework preferred.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and implementation of engineering systems for substations.
• Create drawings, calculations, and designs under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Prepare plans, sketches and reports for assigned projects.
• Communicate with clients to ensure needs are met.
• Collaborate with engineering technicians and other disciplines.
