Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a Substation Foreman to lead electrical installations at multiple Texas locations. You should bring Journeyman experience and in-depth knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and medium-voltage terminations.

You will read control cable schedules, manage conduit sizing and terminations, and supervise installation of breakers, transformers, and busswork. Work includes reading P&C prints, energized-panel duties, and travel to project sites with a strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

• Journeymen electrician with a valid card or able to pass the government test.
• Experience in substation, commercial, or industrial construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA codes and the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical substation construction from Greenfield to Remodels.
• Read and understand control cable schedules from the client.
• Ensure conduit sizes and terminations are correct for installations.
• Work in energized panels and supervise installation of equipment.
