Job summary

Eversource Energy seeks an experienced trainer to design and deliver technical training for Substation Operations and Field Engineering teams. The role blends classroom and hands-on instruction, with travel to MA/CT/NH regions as needed and the ability to update procedures with input from engineers and field personnel.

You will lead training programs, supervise learners, and assess progress to ensure safe, effective performance, leveraging both theory and practical demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in utility transmission, distribution, substations, field engineering, testing, maintenance, construction, or related operations.
• Driver's License; DOT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze job tasks and determine training needs and program content.
• Implement training programs and field quality audit programs.
• Supervise and instruct trainees during classroom, hands-on and on-the-job training.
• Evaluate performance and provide refresher training.
