Job summary

Forbes Bros. Group of Companies is seeking a Foreman to lead a 6–10 person field crew in Lebanon, Kentucky, delivering safe, productive substation construction. You will coordinate day-to-day tasks, ensure quality and safety, and report crew progress while working with project leadership.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, field communication, and day-to-day execution in a travel-ready, site-based environment with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in utility construction or related skilled trades.
• Experience directing a crew and leading field execution.
• Familiarity with substation construction scopes and field safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct a crew of 6–10 craft workers on substation construction tasks.
• Coordinate daily work to meet plans, schedules, and safety standards.
• Lead safety initiatives, tailboard talks, and hazard assessments.
• Maintain quality by ensuring drawings, specs, and client requirements are followed.
• Monitor productivity, track materials, and report progress to supervision.
• Communicate priorities and changes clearly to the crew.
