Xcel Energy is seeking a student intern for the Substation Field Engineering Organization in Colorado. The internship provides hands-on training in substation engineering, with tasks that apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects and opportunities to network with other teams.
Ideal candidates are current students in design, automation, electronics, or engineering programs, able to commute to Lipan, and available full-time during summer or part-time in spring.

Xcel Energy is seeking candidates to support our Substation Field Engineering Organization in Colorado. This paid internship provides practical and hands‑on training in the substation area which includes supporting the engineering operations. The program will allow you to apply what you’ve learned in school and further enhance your knowledge through hands‑on training and provide opportunities to network and learn about other engineering organizations.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $19.29 to $25.00 per hour
