Grays Harbor Public Utility District is seeking a full-time Substation Engineering Supervisor to plan, oversee, and perform substation, SCADA, and automation engineering work for the District’s electrical system. Duties and tasks include supervising a workgroup of several electrical engineers, project planning, budgeting, and prioritizing; managing and evaluating employee performance; work coordination with other departments; establishing and managing contracts for services and consultants; and performing and reviewing electrical designs and project estimates, all in support of the construction, operation, and maintenance of the District’s electrical system.
Eight years experience working in the electrical power field and either a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is required. Other desirable qualifications include professional engineering registration, relevant engineering experience, and supervisory experience and training.
