HDR is seeking a Substation Engineering Intern to gain real-world experience on challenging design projects. You will connect with mentors and peers through young professional programs while assisting the substation, distribution and transmission teams with site visits and tasks.

Applicants should be currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program and bring strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects.
• Connect with recent graduates and mentors through programs.
• Assist substation, distribution & transmission line design teams with site visits and tasks.
• Work on projects with defined objectives and guidance from engineers and drafters.
• Perform other duties as needed.
