The role emphasizes leadership through leaders, collaboration with market and technical teams, and accountability for safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 8+ years of substation engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading teams in engineering consulting or utility environments.
• Experience leading through leaders (project managers, supervisors, technical managers) preferred.
• Strong business acumen with experience winning work and managing staffing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, designers, project managers, and technical leaders serving utility clients.
• Coach team leads and senior engineers; develop people and client relationships.
• Drive recruiting, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Oversee workload forecasting, resource management, and project financial performance.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality utility substation projects on time and within scope.
