Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Substation Engineer in the Oil & Gas group to perform engineering design and analysis for substation projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• P.E. licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects.
• Implement the NEI Quality Assurance Plan.
• Train junior level engineers and designers.
• Manage deliverables and deadlines for internal QA/QC.
• Check the work of designers for quality and accuracy.

Proficiency with AutoCAD

MathCAD

Microsoft Office Suite

Effective written and oral communication skills

Good interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
