Job summary

ITC Holdings Corp. is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of power system components.

The role involves preparing estimates, drawings and specifications for internal projects and leading design efforts for substations and relays. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) and 2–5+ years of related experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience for Intermediate Engineer.
• 5+ years of related experience for Senior Engineer.
• Power system coursework preferred for electrical engineering majors.
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Major in Electrical Engineering or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.


• Minimum Experience:




• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in related area for an Intermediate Engineer level.


• Minimum of five (6) years of work experience in related area for Senior Engineer level




• Power system coursework preferred for electrical engineering majors.


• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.


• Utility experience preferred.


• Possess sound analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.


• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company.


• Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision, in a team environment.


• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).


• Ability to learn and utilize job specific software.
