Job summary

ITC Holdings Corp. in Iowa City is seeking a Senior Transmission Engineer to support installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of transmission line components, and to coordinate maintenance programs across ITCT and METC footprints for capital and O&M work.

The role requires reviewing designs, preparing estimates, coordinating material requisitions, and working with field staff and contractors to ensure successful project completion on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of six (6) years of work experience in related area for Senior level
• Sound analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).

• Attends meetings and training sessions to increase professional knowledge and skills.

• Ability to learn and utilize job-specific software.
• Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision, in a team environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
• Ability to travel offsite for field visits.
• Ability to travel to support geographically diverse business operations.
