NV5, Inc. is actively seeking a Substation Engineer (Physical/ P&C) in New York City to join our Substation Engineering team. You will work hands-on on physical and protection & control projects within small multi-disciplinary teams, delivering high-quality designs and client-ready documents.
We require 3+ years in Substation/Power Delivery, HV design experience (12kV–500kV), and the ability to interpret IEEE/IEC/NESC standards. A PE license is preferred or can be obtained within 12 months.

We have an opportunity for a talented & ambitious electrical engineer to join us as our new Substation Engineer.
As our Substation Engineer, you will hands on with the technical support on both physical and protection & control (P&C) projects and will work closely with NV5 Substation Engineering leadership to ensure project success. You will be working in small project teams to provide exceptional customer service and quality in deliverables to our clients.

Compensation: $85,000.00 to $97,000.00 per year
The pay range for this position in New York City is $85,000–$97,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition, we offer restricted stock units, a full benefits package (medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), PTO), and strong professional development opportunities.
