• Five+ years in substation design or power system protection.
• Experience in substation project management.
• Experience in substation and relay maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and develop design criteria for safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs.
• Ensure conformance to codes, regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to meet schedules and costs.
• Interface with vendors, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and regulators.
• Represent Ameren and provide expert testimony as required.
• Ensure NERC standard compliance and participate in audits.
• Stay abreast of developments and mentor engineers in the group.
• Provide Operations support outside normal working hours when needed.
• Build effective teams and foster engagement, innovation, and accountability.
