Job summary

CDG Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineer to design and implement critical electrical infrastructure projects. You will design substations and expansions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and tackle complex engineering challenges, including protection and control interfaces.

Remote optional role or hybrid work arrangement at our St. Louis, MO headquarters, with salary range $100k–$140k depending on experience and PE licensure status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years relevant experience (10+ years for Senior level).
• PE license (or ability to obtain MO license).
• Experience designing substations from 12kV to 500kV.
• Knowledge of substation layouts, grounding, lighting protection, and control house design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical infrastructure projects for substations.
• Conduct physical design for new substations and expansions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
