Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a Substation Design Engineer for the Tulsa, OK area.

You will handle conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of substations, including procurement and startup support through energization. Under supervision of a Project Engineer, you will coordinate with design teams across disciplines, prepare drawings and specifications, and help ensure quality and schedule performance on power delivery projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Design engineering experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Ability to meet fast-paced project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of substations.
• Procurement of materials and startup support through energization.
• Coordinate with designers, drafters and SME groups for studies and drawings.
• Ensure quality and schedule adherence on fast-paced projects.
