Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; power focus preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical AC/DC fundamentals; basic knowledge of three-phase power systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and email tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design documents and drawings for substation projects under supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations such as relay burden, load flow, and short circuit studies under supervision.
• Learn to apply engineering software for ground grid design, relay coordination, transformer sizing, and studies under supervision.
• Contribute to meeting project schedules and adhere to NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE/ANSI standards.
