Job summary

HDR is seeking a Substation Civil EIT/Coordinator in the United States (multiple locations including Wisconsin and Minnesota) to perform analyses, support project deliverables, and execute engineering tasks under supervision. You will collaborate with Project Engineers and BIM specialists on power infrastructure projects that shape the electric grid.

The role requires an Engineering degree, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (examples include engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications)
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects
• Work with assistance from Project Engineers, other Engineers In-Training (EITs), Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed
• Perform other duties as needed
