Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking motivated drafters to join our team in Billings, MT.

The position involves drafting and design support for multiple design teams on station projects from 34.5 kV through 345 kV, including substation drawings, wiring, and schematic diagrams. Ideal candidates hold a college degree or two-year technical certificate (or equivalent on-the-job experience) with proficiency in AutoCAD; MicroStation is a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree or two-year technical certificate or two years on-the-job drafting/design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; strong Windows computer aptitude; MicroStation experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work individually and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and design support for multiple design teams on station projects from 34.5 kV through 345 kV.
• Design of substation physical drawings, wiring, and schematic diagrams; develop materials list.
• Perform other duties as determined by management staff.
