Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a motivated drafter to join our Cumberland, ME team. You will support multiple design teams in the conceptual to final design of high-voltage stations (4.16 kV–765 kV) and develop substation drawings and diagrams.

The role requires a relevant degree or a two-year CAD certificate or equivalent on-the-job drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Windows; MicroStation is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree in an acceptable curriculum.
• Two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design.
• Or a minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-sided drafting/design field.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and design support to multiple design teams for station projects 4.16 kV through 765 kV.
• Develop substation physical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Develop materials list and related duties as needed.
