* This position may be filled as a Substation Apprentice 1st Year through a Substation Technician based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. *
* The selected candidate must live within or be willing to relocate within 30 miles/minutes of the assigned service area, and this role does not offer relocation benefits. *
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
While working safely, employee will maintain, install, test and repair breakers, transformers, regulators and associated electrical equipment in substations and power plants. Employee will maintain a safe and healthy work environment with co-workers and management personnel. Employee must have the ability to perform switching on both distribution and transmission substation equipment.
