Job summary

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services Inc. is seeking a Substance Use Team Leader to guide our Substance Use Team, supervise clinicians toward licensure, and ensure high-quality, compassionate service delivery for individuals and families.

You will balance leadership with direct client care while supporting program success. The role includes supervising the team, coordinating care with community providers, maintaining a caseload, and overseeing the IOP.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; commitment to staff development and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Substance Use Team through supervision and coaching toward licensure.
• Coordinate day-to-day team operations and assignments with community partners.
• Provide clinical services with a caseload of 8–12 clients and ensure timely, quality documentation.
• Oversee the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and monitor team performance for service improvement.
