Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking an Assistant Counselor for Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Therapy in Harrisburg to support individuals and families on their path to recovery.

You will conduct assessments and provide individual and group therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders, working within a multidisciplinary team toward long-term recovery, with flexible scheduling and on-going professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Addictions, or related field.
• Experience in diagnosing and providing individual therapy is preferred but not required.
• PA State Police Criminal History Check.
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
• FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide individual and group therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
