Health Connect America seeks a Substance Use Disorder Therapist to join our team, delivering evidence-informed care to individuals and families in a supportive, home- and community-based framework. You will work under licensed supervision and contribute to assessments, group sessions, and individualized services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or related field.
• VA licensure approvals: LPC Resident or LCSW-Supervisee.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake screening and assist with psychosocial assessments and admission documentation.
• Perform and assist with program administrative functions including psychosocial assessments and admission documentation, contacts with referral sources and family, urine drug screens, and ensure treatment authorization with payer source (initial and concurrent).
• Take an active role in psychoeducational programming using didactic, audio-visual, and other formats appropriate for this level of care.
• Perform and assist with the clinical group process portion of the program using recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Perform and assist with individual and family sessions as needed.
• Perform and assist with weekly family education and weekly programs.

Education
