Job summary

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation seeks Substance Use Disorder Counselors to provide clinically guided treatment within a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver services per our standards, coordinate care, and support professional development for licensure and CEUs.

As a Counselor 1 or 2 you’ll handle a manageable caseload, engage in robust team collaboration, and access weekly supervision, tuition benefits, and DEI initiatives. The organization emphasizes growth and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and completed addiction counseling program.
• Active Substance Use Disorder certification or license (MN: LADC).
• Proficiency with technology to document in EHR and schedule meetings.
• CPR certification current or within 30 days; remote workers exempt.
• Pass state/license background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide SUD treatment services per standards of care and policies.
• Coordinate with treatment team and represent services to audiences.
• Maintain patient information communications per policy and privacy rules.
• Provide Caseload management, supervision, and professional development.
