New Day Recovery in Senath, Missouri, is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CADC/QAP) to join our team. The role focuses on individual and group counseling, assessment, and ongoing client progress documentation within a supportive recovery program.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri credential or QAP qualification, with experience in substance use disorder treatment and a passion for helping clients achieve lasting recovery through compassionate accountability.

Qualifications

• Missouri addiction-treatment credential or meet Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) requirements.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment, behavioral health or recovery services is strongly preferred.
• Comfort taking ownership of groups and counseling sessions and maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling.
• Facilitate engaging, recovery-focused therapeutic groups.
• Complete assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
• Monitor and document client progress.
• Develop relapse-prevention and continuing-recovery plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with treatment technicians, leadership and the treatment team.
• Help strengthen the overall quality and consistency of the program.
