Job summary

Another Chance Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center of Portland is seeking a compassionate CADC I or higher to provide direct clinical services to clients in High Intensity Outpatient (HIOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs in Portland, OR. The counselor will work within a collaborative, trauma-informed framework to deliver person-centered care.

The role emphasizes biopsychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, and group/individual counseling, with adherence to ODSP/OAR

Qualifications

CADC I certification or higher required.
Experience in substance use disorder treatment preferred.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
Facilitate process groups, psychoeducation groups, and individual counseling sessions.
Complete documentation in compliance with OAR, Medicaid, and agency standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case staffing.
Coordinate care with community partners, probation/parole, and referral sources.
Support clients in relapse prevention, recovery planning, and discharge planning.
Maintain ethical standards in accordance with the Oregon Health Authority and CADC credentialing body.
