Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA seeks a full-time Counselor for the Substance Use Disorder Unit. The Counselor assesses the patient’s drug and alcohol history, establishes treatment goals, and provides therapeutic and educational services consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a health/human services field with practicum in a relevant setting.
• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency.
• Current RN licensure with 1 year of counseling experience preferred.
• Full certification as an addictions counselor or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient drug and alcohol history and establish treatment goals.
• Provide therapeutic and educational services in line with Roxbury Treatment Center objectives.
• Day shift scheduling includes Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.
