Recovery Unplugged Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Substance Use Counselor (LCDC or LCDC-I) to join our clinical team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on delivering quality therapeutic services and supporting clients through treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities include conducting individual, group, and family sessions, developing treatment plans, facilitating groups, monitoring progress, and coordinating discharge planning with families and community providers.

Qualifications

• Active LCDC or LCDC-I license required.
• Experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational programming.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions.
• Coordinate discharge planning and communicate with referral sources and families.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations.
• Support clients through all phases of treatment.
