Job summary

The Ranch at Dove Tree is seeking Counselor One to provide treatment and support to clients recovering from addictions and mental health disorders. This onsite Texas role conducts assessments, counseling sessions (group/individual/family), and educates clients and families, while ensuring timely documentation and care coordination with insurance carriers.

Onsite work, CPR and de-escalation training are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services, addiction, or mental health from an accredited college.
• Licensure as social worker, professional counselor, therapist, or addiction counselor per state.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, needs, and risk.
• Provide group, individual, and family counseling using evidence-based methods.
• Document care, progress, and aftercare plans timely and clearly.
• Coordinate with insurance and perform case management as needed.
