Pinnacle Treatment Centers in Virginia is seeking Counseling staff at Counselor I, II, and III levels to support recovery. You will assess patients, conduct sessions, and help with treatment planning within a compassionate, evidence-based program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; CSAC credentials or eligibility for certification/licensure in Virginia.
• For Counselor II/III, additional licensure/certification requirements apply (CSAC, LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LSATP).
• Experience in substance use treatment is preferred; licensure eligibility is required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Complete intake evaluations and facilitate group counseling sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling.
• Conduct treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences.
• Educate patients on program expectations, rights, and recovery goals.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services.
• Collect and administer urine/swab drug screens following chain-of-custody procedures.
• Attend supervision, team meetings, and required trainings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and policies.
