Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is hiring Counselor I–III in Virginia to provide assessments, counseling, and treatment planning across our substance use disorder programs. This role supports crisis intervention, documentation, and collaborative team care within a regulated clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or qualifying CSAC credentials.
• CSAC Supervisee or CSAC Supervisee Pending preferred.
• Eligible for Virginia Board licensure/certification or national certifying body.
• Experience in substance use treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Complete intake evaluations and facilitate group counseling sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling.
• Conduct treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences.
• Educate patients on program expectations, rights, and recovery goals.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services.
• Collect and administer urine drug screens following chain-of-custody procedures.
• Attend supervision, team meetings, and required trainings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and policies.
