Alpharus Health is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to join our Corrections program in Chillicothe, MO. The role involves completing assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and documenting progress while ensuring compliance with program policies.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; certifications will be supported within 30 days. The position is full-time with standard Monday–Friday hours and local corrections oversight.

Qualifications

• Completes comprehensive assessments of clients' substance abuse history and treatment requirements.
• Provides individual and group counseling and may facilitate didactic groups.
• Documents treatment and discharge plans, and clients' progress and responses to treatment; maintains related records.

Responsibilities

• Performs case management and contributes to client care monitoring.
• Collaborates with treatment teams to implement individualized plans.
• Adheres to program policies and maintains confidentiality.
