Job Responsibilities
  • Provide group counseling and ancillary services at correctional facilities
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, and documentation
  • Refer clients to Medication-Assisted Treatment, Narcan, and community resources
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress
  • Develop continuing care plans
  • Facilitate treatment cohorts with a ratio of 1:15 participants
  • Oversee volunteers and support meetings
Position Details

This is an hourly union position with pay range 11 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. Normal hours are Monday-Friday, 1st shift, located at Toledo Correctional Institution, 2001 E. Central Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43608. The start salary is Step 1, with potential increases after satisfactory performance and annually.

Selected candidates will complete a 4-week training at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction's Corrections Training Academy in Orient, OH.
