Health Care Resource Centers in the United States is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to support patients through medication-assisted treatment and counseling for opioid addiction. You will lead individual and group sessions, assess progress, and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists to optimize care in a outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Formación

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental counseling
• Knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches

Responsabilidades

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Coordinate care and present patient status to the treatment team
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans per state regulations
• Provide clinical services and patient education for opioid addiction
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize computer systems
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
