Health Care Resource Centers in Greenfield, MA is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to support patients through medically assisted programs and coping strategies for opioid addiction. The role includes group and individual counseling, coordinating care with the treatment team, and evaluating patient progress.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering education and clinical services.

Formación

• Must have a CADC or be working toward a CADC and able to obtain within 2 years of working under supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Coordinate care with treatment team and present patient status.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement treatment plans per state requirements.
• Provide clinical services and opiate addiction counseling.
• Maintain excellent documentation and computer skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
