Job summary

Groups is seeking a Substance Use Counselor in a hybrid role located in Manchester. You will lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions daily, utilizing structured, evidence-based curricula and meeting members where they are within our clinical framework.

The position emphasizes compassionate, recovery-oriented care. The role requires a Master’s in mental/behavioral health or current enrollment, with supervision for credentials such as MFT/LPC/LCSW, and experience in group therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the mental/behavioral health discipline or students enrolled in Masters' programs pursuing credentials in the listed bullets.
• Active or currently under supervision to obtain credentials: MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D. RN & LPN with experience leading therapeutic groups.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the mental/behavioral health discipline OR students enrolled in Masters' programs pursuing the credentials in the following bullet point.
• Active or currently under supervision to obtain the following credentials: MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D. RN & LPN also acceptable with experience leading therapeutic groups & supporting documentation.
• Experience leading Group Therapy.
• High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
• Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
• Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
