Job summary

The Salvation Army Goose Creek Correctional Center seeks a Substance Abuse Treatment Services Coordinator to manage a caseload, supervise on-site counselors, and conduct trainings. You will ensure adherence to the ADOC SATS contract, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with institutional staff to deliver quality services.

Applicants should have Alaska CDCI certification, clinical discipline experience, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Alaska State CDCI is required.
• Three years of direct clinical experience in treatment of chemical dependency.
• Expert knowledge of Substance Related and Addictive Disorders and treatment.
• CDCII certification within one year from hire; CDCS preferred.
• Able to pass Alaska ADOC background check and PREA screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload and supervise SATS counselors on site.
• Facilitate groups, conduct staff meetings and trainings.
• Ensure counselors comply with ADOC SATS contract obligations.
• Prepare reports and coordinate treatment activities with institutional staff.
