Job summary

The Salvation Army Harbor Light is seeking a qualified clinician to deliver individual, group, and educational counseling to clients in a structured program. You will maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with Harbor Light standards while collaborating with referral sources to coordinate care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science, state licensure readiness, and experience with substance abuse populations.

Qualifications

• Masters in Behavioral Science (Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology) required.
• TB Test and police clearance required.
• License/certification requirements must be met (Michigan license and CADC/CAADC or Development Plan).
• Two years of substance abuse population experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and educational counseling sessions.
• Maintain case records per Harbor Light standards.
• Follow up on treatment plans and modify services as needed.
• Communicate with referral sources and submit authorization reports.
