Job summary

The Salvation Army Harbor Light program seeks a qualified clinician to apply clinical practices and provide client services. You will conduct counseling sessions, maintain case records, and collaborate with referrals to support treatment plans within Harbor Light standards.

Required are a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science and at least two years of substance-abuse experience, plus TB test, police clearance, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Science required.
• Minimum two years of experience with substance abuse populations.
• TB Test and police clearance required.
• Authorization to work within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and educational counseling sessions.
• Maintain case records in Harbor Light standards.
• Follow up to determine reliability/validity of treatment plan and modify services as needed.
• Maintain contact with referral sources and submit authorization requests and required reports.
• Complete discharge documentation, including aftercare plan and referrals.
