Job summary

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS seeks a Counseling & Soc Svcs Sup I - F/C - SES at Lowell Correctional Institution to lead inmate substance abuse programming and oversee daily operations in the Substance Abuse Department.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, a certified addictions counselor credential, and two years of relevant experience in TC settings or senior program leadership. On-site work is required with no telework option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Certification in Addictions Counseling (CAP/CCJAP, etc.)
• Two years of Therapeutic Community (TC) experience or two years of senior program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage inmate substance abuse programming at a correctional institution.
• Provide curriculum development, clinical supervision, and staff oversight.
• Interface with institutional and community partners for reentry and program evaluation.
