Job summary

Minimum Entry Salary *: Based On Experience

Location: Fort Valley, GA

Services Area/Programs: WTRS Residential

Description of Duties: *** This position is located in Fort Valley, GA *** Employee must complete clinical documentation, i.e., group notes, 30-day reviews, and all other documentation that pertains to the client. Employees must have the ability to perform case management services, i.e., assisting clients with scheduling medical appointments, applying for food stamps, monitor clients when taking medications, etc. Employees must participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. Employee must work directly with the individuals on positive healthy skill building, be able to provide Substance Abuse recovery tools in a group setting. Employees must be able to work monthly weekend rotation shift schedules as needed /requested. Perform other duties as assigned and work as an effective team member, i.; transporting clients and children, using a fire extinguisher, teach clients how to prepare meals, lift furniture, etc. **May possibly have to change a flat tire on a state vehicle**. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, CPS Certification with lived experience. Must be able to Obtain CAC I, or CADC I, within two years of hire date. Must have group facilitation and case management skills. Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and writing skills. Must have a valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License and be keyboard proficient.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher in Human Services or related field in Human Services or related field with a Substance Abuse Certification CACII or CADC II and Co-Occurring Disorders with at least 3-5 years of documented work experience. Experience in group facilitation and case management. Experience working with individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System. Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder Screening Tools, and ASAM Levels.
