The Recovery Village – Indianapolis is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to support individuals on their recovery journey. You will lead group therapy sessions, develop evidence-based curricula, and collaborate with the treatment team to formulate Master Treatment Plans.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Behavioral Health, CPR-AED and First Aid certification, and at least 1 year of behavioral health experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Behavioral Health preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in behavioral health preferred.
• CPR-AED and First Aid certification required.
• State SUD certification required if education equals HS or Bachelor.

Aufgaben

• Develops and provides daily group therapy to assigned patients.
• Ensures group attendance and engages patients with meaningful content.
• Uses therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques to meet treatment goals.
• Collaborates with Treatment Team to formulate Master Treatment Plan.
• Assists in coordinating discharge planning and aftercare.
