Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to lead group therapy sessions at our Knoxville/Rockwood area locations. You will be part of a member-centered care team delivering evidence-based group sessions and documenting outcomes for progress tracking.

The role requires a Master’s degree in mental/behavioral health and active supervision for relevant credentials. Strong technology skills and a compassionate, collaborative approach are essential for success in our mission-driven

Qualifications

Master’s degree in mental/behavioral health is required.
Active or under supervision to obtain credentials: MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC 2.
Experience leading Group Therapy essential.
High comfort with technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products, mobile apps, etc.
Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and a focus on member success.

Responsibilities

Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using an evidence-based curriculum.
Facilitate group discussions using a plug-and-play approach within clinical framework guidelines.
Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
