Catholic Health seeks a skilled counselor for its Mercy Hospital in Uniondale, NY. The successful candidate will provide substance abuse counseling, develop individualized recovery plans, and support patients in a caring environment.

Qualifications include a CASAC, LMHC or LMSW and experience with chemical dependence and psychiatric care. This role provides competitive pay at $24.69 – $38.46 per hour and generous employee benefits.

Formación

• One (1) year of experience working with individuals with chemical dependence and/or psychiatric experience preferred.
• Maintains yearly educational requirements set forth by OASAS to allow for timely renewal of credential.

Responsabilidades

• Provides chemical dependency counseling as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Screens potential individuals for admission to ensure appropriate level of care.
• Develops an individualized Recovery Plan within 24 hours of admission.
